SUSPENSIONS Slowly push the piston rod and assembly into shock body until the cylinder head assembly bottoms on the cylinder counterboreSlight up and down movement may be required to allow all air to pass through piston assemblyNOTE: During installation, some shock oil will overflowWrap shop cloth around shock body to catch possible oil overflowFast installation of the piston rod and assembly may displace the floating piston from its original positionThis must not occur if the damper is expected to perform as designedUsing an open face spanner tighten cylinder head securely into the shock cylinderPressurize the shock reservoir through the pressure valve with nitrogen gas to the specified gas pressureNOTE: Adjust gas pressure to 200psi After being compressed, the piston rod should fully extend from the shock once the shock has been pressurizedWith the gas pressure pushing against the pressure valve end cap firmly tighten the pressure valve assembly and reinstall the small button head screwReinstall any bearing sleeves andor bushings in the lower shock mount
