MAINTENANCE WaterSediment Trap Maintenance
Most Polaris snowmobile incorporate patented carburetor bowl watersediment traps which are located at the bottom of each carburetorThe trap consists of hose with plug which should be inspected for contamination at least every 2000 miles (3200 km)
Cleaning ProcedurePlug
1Turn the fuel tank supply valve off2Position container or shop towels to catch the contaminated gasoline3Slide the clamp (1) away from the drain plug (2) and remove the drain plug from the sediment tube4Wipe off residue from plug and reinstall with clampsContinue until all the traps have been emptied2 1
