1Clean O-ring and bellows in warm water and mild detergentInspect bellows for holes, distortion or damageReplace if necessaryInspect O-ring for damage2Clean all other parts with solventBe sure all parts are thoroughly cleanDry with compressed air3Remove all old Loctitet from valve threads4Inspect the actuator port in cylinder and valve housingBe sure it is clear and not obstructed by debris or carbon5Carbon deposits can be removed from valve with Scotch Britet pad or similar soft abrasive brush6Lubricate exhaust valve with Polaris Premium Gold 2-cycle engine lubricantInstall valve in cylinder and move it through the entire travel range to check for free movement without bindingIf the valve sticks anywhere in the travel range, check the valve and valve bore in the cylinder for carbon deposits and clean if necessaryClean with solvent O-ring Bellows
