1Remove two mounting boltsRemove exhaust valve assembly from cylinder
2Remove four cover bolts, cover, and return springCAUTION: Valve is spring loadedHold cover in position until all bolts are removed3If the spring stays in the cover, hold the cover with spring facing toward youRotate spring in counterclockwise direction while pulling outward on the springDo not distort the spring upon removal
