3Rotate the idler wheel bearing (by hand) and inspect for binding or roughness4If bearing must be replaced, use this procedure ! CAUTION
Do not remove the bearing unless it is absolutely necessaryThe bearing will be damaged during removalMS003A
2If applicable, note the locations of the shim washers for assembly purposesThe shim washers are to be installed to the inside of the idler wheels
ARemove the wheel insert (if applicable) and the snap ringBUsing hydraulic press, press the bearing out the inside of the wheelCPress the new bearing (on its outer race) into the idler wheel
