1Using an ohmmeter, test the resistance between each field output wire and its adjacent field output wire! NOTE: The resistance should register within range of 0.9-1.1 ohmsIf the resistance does not fall within the indicated range, the alternator must be replaced
2Continue testing all field output wires in this manner
