2Install the positive cable (A) to the starter motor and tighten securelySecure the positive and negative cables with cable ties as noted during disassembling! NOTE: To finalize this procedure, it is necessary to install the air silencerProceed to Section Servicing Air Silencer (1100 cc Z1) sub-section and follow steps 3-12 of INSTALLING 2Remove the positive lead nut and insulator
3Install the negative cable to the battery

! NOTE: Prior to servicing the alternator, check output to the batteryWith the engine running, alternator output should be 14.2-14.8 (10)If output is lower than specification, proceed to disassembling and testing the alternator components
