Fuel System This sub-section has been organized for servicing 4-stroke fuel systems; however, some components may vary from model to modelThe technician should use discretion and sound judgment when removingdisassembling and assemblinginstalling componentsWhenever any maintenance or inspection is made on the fuel system in which fuel leakage may occur, there should be no welding, smoking, or open flames in the area! NOTE: For testing procedures for specific 4stroke EFI fuel system components, refer to the Arctic Cat Diagnostic System Manual (pn 2256974) or to the Laptop Diagnostic Tool (pn 0744048)! 4Check the impulse hose for cracks or any possible air leaksThe hose must fit tightly at both endsIf loose or cracked, replace the hose5Check the gas tank vent hose for kinks or obstructions; remove any obstructions6Turn the shut-off valve to the OPEN position
