11Shut the engine off, recheck the oil level, and add if necessary Changing OilFilter
(1100 cc Z1)

7Using Oil Filter Wrench (pn 0644-389), loosen (but do not remove) the oil filter and allow the oil to drain from the filter; then remove the filter8Apply light coat of fresh engine oil to the seal of the new oil filter9Install the new oil filter by turning the oil filter by hand until the seal has contacted the oil filter mounting surface; then tighten the oil filter to 2.1 kg-m (15 ft-lb)10Pour 2.9 (3 U.Sqt) of the recommended engine oil into the oil reservoir11Open the air bleed bolt located on the oil pump (beneath the coolant tank) to purge air from the oil hose

Care must be taken if hot drain plug is removed by handBurning could occur
! NOTE: Recycle or properly dispose of the used engine oil
1Using putty knife, remove the belly pan plug2Park the snowmobile on level surface; then start the engine and allow it to warm up for 1015 minutes, or if the snowmobile was operated, allow engine to idle for approximately 30 seconds3Shut the engine off; then place drain pans beneath both engine oil drain plugs (crankcase and oil reservoir)
