The Arctic Cat engine requires short break-in period (approximately 10 operating hours) before being subjected to heavy load conditions or fullthrottle operationStrict adherence to the break-in procedure will contribute to optimum performance and longevity of the engineDuring break-in, maximum of 12 throttle is recommended; however, brief full-throttle accelerations and variations in driving speeds contribute to good engine break-inAfter the 10 hour break-in period, the snowmobile may be taken to an authorized Arctic Cat Snowmobile dealer for checkup and oil changeThis service is at the discretion and expense of the snowmobile owner

After the engine break-in period, the engine oil should be changed every 2500-3000 miles on the 660 cc non-turbo models and the 1100 cc Z1 model and every 2000 miles on the 660 cc turbo models and before prolonged storage
