6Clean and inspect the linkage (7-11, Figure 16)Replace parts as necessary7Inspect all parts for wear, cracks, twisting or other damageInstall new parts as necessary8Position the sway bar in the snowmobile without the bushings9Install bushing (S, Figure 16) at each end of the sway barSeat the shoulder of the bushing against the frame10Install the spacers (3, Figure 16), if so equipped11Install both arms (2, Figure 16) on the sway bar with the bolt holes in the arms aligned with the notch in the barMake sure the arms are aligned the same on both sides12Install the pinch bolts and nuts (Figure 17)Tighten to the torque listed in Table 113Connect the linkage (7-11, Figure 16) to each armTighten the bolt to the torque listed in Table 114Check the sway bar linkage adjustment as described in this chapter
