cUntie the knot (Figure 2) and remove the handle3Remove the screws attaching the starter housing to the engine, then remove the starter housing (Figure 3, typical)4Installation is the reverse of the preceding stepsObserve the following: aPosition the starter housing with the rope exit correctly aligned toward the rearInstall the housing retaining screws and tighten securelybThread the starter rope back through its original path and out the hole in the cowlcUntie the knot at the end of the rope and feed the rope through the handle (Figure 4)dTie knot in the end of the rope (Figure 5)eOperate the starter assembly to make sure it is working properlyCheck the path of the
