OIL INJECTION SYSTEM
2Install new gasket or O-ring seal between the retainer and the oil pump3Align the slot in the oil pump with the tang on the driveshaftInstall the pump and secure it with its mounting screws (B, Figure 6)4Attach the main supply hose and oil injection outlet lines to the pumpInstall clamps on the hoses and place washer on each side of the banjo bolts5If the engine is installed in the frame, observe the following: aConnect the main oil hose to the oil pumpbConnect the oil pump cable to the oil pumpcBleed the oil pump as described in this chapterdInstall the carburetors as described in Chapter Six or the fuel injection unit as described in Chapter SeveneIf so equipped, synchronize the carburetors as described in Chapter ThreefAdjust the oil pump as described in Chapter Three
