CHAPTER SIX THROTTLE CABLE REPLACEMENT
1Remove the carburetor caps and detach the cables from the throttle valves as described in this chapter2Detach the cable from the oil injection pump3Detach the throttle cable from the throttle lever4Mark or otherwise identify the routing of the old cable(s)Route the new cable the same as the original5Make sure the circ1ip is installed at the upper (handlebar control) end of the cable6Adjust the carburetors as described in Chapter ThreeSee Synchronization7Adjust the oil injection cable as described in Chapter Three8Operate the throttle lever to make sure the carburetor throttle slides operate correctly9Check cable routingMake sure the cable is not crimped or pulled when turning
