NOTE One adjuster (B, Figure 28) is located on each side of the track and the setting of the adjusters controls both track tension and track alignmentTrack alignment and tension must both be checked when disturbing the adjusters
Track alignment
1Check and, if necessary, adjust the track tension as described in this chapter2Position the machine on its skis so that the ski tips are against wall or other immovable barrier3Elevate and support the machine so that the track is completely clear of the ground and free to rotateWARNING Do not stand behind or in front of the machine when the engine is running and take care to keep hands,feet and clothing away from the track when it is moving
