GENERAL INFORMATION
WARNING The drive belt guard must be removed when starting the engine with the emergency starting strapNever lean into the snowmobile's engine compartment while wearing scalf or other loose clothing while the engine is running or when attempting to start the engineIf the scalf or clothing should catch in the drive belt or clutch, severe injury or death could result
WARNING When starting the engine, be sure that no bystanders are in front or behind the snowmobileA sudden lurch of the machine could cause serious injury
15Make sure all lights are workingNOTE If abnormal noises are detected after starting the engine, locate and repair the problem before starting outNOTE Refer to the appropriate chapter for tightening torques and service procedures
