TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEM
1Carburetor Floods
CONDITION
ADirt or Foreign Particles Preventing Inlet Needle from Seating Diaphragm Lever Spring Not Seated on Lever Dimple Diaphragm Improperly Installed
SOLUTION
ARemove, clean, and replace
Remove lever and re-install on dimpleReplace or correct diaphragm installationRotate adjustment screw counterclockwiseReset leverTighten cover plateReplace diaphragm gasketRemove diaphragm cover, diaphragm, diaphragm lever, and main (high speed) adjusting screwClean out orifice by blowing through main adjusting screw holeSet to best idle adjustmentBlowout with compressed airIf compressed air is not available, clean and flush with solventReset diaphragm lever so it is flush with the floor of the diaphragm chamberInstall throttle shutter properlyPoor Acceleration
