ENGINE SERVICING (SINGLE CYLINDER) 2Remove the asbestos exhaust outlet gasketRemove the six (6) bolts securing the spiral case to fan cowlPull spiral case straight out from the engineDisconnect the impulse line at the engineUnscrew the two (2) carburetor flange nuts and slide washers off mounting studsCarefully pull carburetor from the mounting studsCAUTION: Be sure the mounting studs do not back out; breakage of the carburetor ear could result when reassembl ingUsing flywheel holding tool and 13mm socket wrench, remove the three (3) bolts and rope pulley
