1Measure: Speed sensor output voltage Within specification Replace the multifunction meterOut of specification Replace the speed sensorMeasurement steps: 1Disconnect the speed sensor coupler 1Refer to "Steering master removal" in Chapter 82Connect the positive battery lead to the terminal 2, and the negative battery lead to the terminal 33Connect the tester leads between the terminal and terminal 34Rotate the paddle wheel by hand and measure the output voltage between the terminal and terminal 3Speed sensor output voltage (dependant on the paddle wheel position): Yellow (Y) Blackyellow (BY) Less than 400 mV More than 11.6 V
