Hull damage (punctured)
1Remove any damaged fiberglass2Cut and open the crack approximately 14 inch3Grind the opened edge less than 30 on the outside4Grind the area from inside the hull approximately inches beyond it5Clean the area with acetone, apply BP-1 or an equivalent primer on both sides of the area and cure for 12 hour6Tape piece of cardboard covered with waxed paper D over the damaged area7Mix polyester resin and catalyst and apply it to the hull8Apply glass mat (2 inches smaller than the ground area)9Apply catalyzed resin10Apply 20 oz fiberglass cloth (1 inch smaller than the glass mat)11Apply catalyzed resin12Apply final glass mat (1 inch smaller than the ground area)13When the resin has hardened, remove the piece of cardboard14Finish the outer surface using steps in the "Deep scratching" section
