Light scratching 1Sand the scratched area smooth with #400 grit wet or dry paper, and then with #600 grit wet or dry paper2Polish the area with rubbing compound and buff to high gloss using wool pad and automotive wax
Deep scratching 1Remove any sharprough edges from the surface2Sand the area smooth for about one inch all around the scratch with #80 grit wet or dry paper3Clean the area with acetone and dry it4Mix gel-coat with gel-coat thickener to make gel-coat putty and then add the catalyst to make5Apply and spread the catalyzed putty with squeegee, then cover the putty with piece of waxed paper6When the putty has set, sand the area catalyzed puttySmooth using #80 grit to #400 grit wet or dry paper and sanding block7Clean the area with dry cloth and polish it
