_ 5Smooth out the out surface by sanding it6Install plate 2Then, using 9.2 mm (0.36 in) diameter drill, make hole of depth 20 mm (0.79 in) in the center of the laminated fiberglass layers7Pass the bolt CD through the insert nut, as shown, and lock the bolt with the nut Screw in the insert nut so that the top is flush with the FRP surfaceLoosen the lock nut and remove the bolt
The bolt should be made of steel and its strength should be 8T or more If the bolt is inferior in strength, or is made of stainless steel, it may break Bolt CD Strength is 8T or more Lock nut
