GENERAL
During assemblyinstallaton, use torque values and service products as in the exploded view
Connect wires one way then reverse polarities to verify motor rotation tn both waysIf VTS actuating mechanism is correct and the motor turns freely in both ways, VTS module could be defectiveIf VTS motor does not stop at the end of its stroke while installed, the motor cou Id be defective
Clean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LUCTITE APPLICATION the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
CONTROL MODULE
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly adhered toLocking devices (e.g.1 locking ta bsf elastic stop nuts, self-locking fastenersf cotter pins, etc.1 must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impairedf it must be renewed
It receives its current from the batteryIt is pro-
tected by its fuse located on the MPEM module
Resistance Test
Disconnect BROWNIBLACK wire and BROWN WHITE wire of VTS control moduleConnect test probes of rnultirneter to BROWNBLACKeand BROWNWHITE wire of VTS control modulePush on VTS switch down positonuntil motor
