CAUTION: Never use impact wrench to loosen impellerTo remove impeller, apply rotaling movement and pull same timeSlide impeller out of housing
Inspection
Check impeller boot for damagesReplace if necessaryVisually inspect impeller splinesCheck for wear or deformation- Renew parts if damagedNOTE: Check also the drive shaft conditionRefer to DRIVE SYSTEMExamine impeller in wear ring for distortionCheck if blade tips are blunted round, chipped or brokenSuch impeller is unbalanced and will vibrate and damage wear ring, impeller shaft, shaft seal or bearings: Renew if -damaged
