Check lightness and condition of rubber mountsIf they have been removed, apply Loctile 243 (blue) (PN 293 800 060) on screw threads, Torque screws to Namlbfaft)CAUTION: Strict adherence this torque is important to avoid damaging threads of aluminum insert in bilgeConnect starter cable before lowering
Torque nut of positive starter cable to Nrn (62 Ibfein)Apply dielectric grease (PIN 293 550 004)on nutEnsure contact surface is perfectly clean then reconnect grounds wirescable to engineTYPICAL D;sconnect D
Install the engine on an engine stand.1
Place engine into vehicle Install englne support screwsDo riot apply threadlocker to engine support screws and do not torque yet
Align engineRefer to ENGINE ALGNMENT the end of this section for complete procedureInstall and properly align exhaust pipeRefer to EXHAUST SYSTEMReinstall all removed parts and connect all cotiriectors
Check throttle cable lubrcate with and it XP-S Lube (PIN 293 600 6)1 After its installation, properly adjust throttle cable then perform the TPS reset as specified in ENGINE MANAGEMENTCheck hose condition and pressure test fuel system, refer to FUEL SYSTEM
