Section 11 PROPULSION SYSTEM Subsection 02 (JET PUMP)
Install O-rings no38 around bailer passages or make sure they are in place if they were not removed
PUMP PRESSURIZATION
Whenever doing any type of repair on jet pump, pressure test should be done to check for leakageProceed as follows: Remove drain plug from cover Apply Loctite Pipe sealant on threads of fitting tool (PN 295 000 086) then secure on cover Connect pump gauge tester (PN 529 021 800) to fitting Pressurize pump to maximum of 70 kPa (10 PSI)
Disconnect pump gauge tester and remove fitting Check oil levelRefill as necessary Apply Loctite Pipe sealant (PN 293 800 018) to threads of filler plug then secure it in coverNOTE: The plug threads are perpendicular to the impeller shaft
