Visually inspect thrust washer no32, thrust bearing no33 and their contact surfaceCheck for scoring, pitting, flaking, discoloration or other evidence of wearFor best inspection, use 7X magnifying glass to check wear pattern1 3
Carefully inspect seal lipsMake sure that lips are not worn, distorted, cracked or show signs of any other damageReplace after 150 hours even if it seems good
