Resistance Test
Disconnect the AMP plug connector number on the MPEMUsing multimeter, check continuity of circuits 3-3, 3-6 and 3-7If wiring harness is good, try new MPEMRefer to MPEM replacement procedures elsewhere in this sectionOtherwise, repair the wiring harnessconnectors between AMP plug connector and the MAPS
Resistance Test
Disconnect the plug connector from the EGT and check the resistance of the sensor itselfThe resistance should be between 2280 and 2740 Otherwise, replace the EGTIf resistance tests good, reconnect the EGT and disconnect the AMP plug connector number on the MPEMUsing multimeter, recheck resistance value between terminals 10 and 12If resistance value is correct, try new MPEMRefer to MPEM replacement procedures elsewhere in this sectionIf resistance value is incorrect, repair the wiring harnessconnectors between AMP plug connector and the EGT
