Electrical Test
Safety lanyard must be on DESS postUsing the vehicle communication kit (VCK) with the B.U.D.Ssoftware, energize the fuel injector from the Activation sectionIf the injector does not work, disconnect the plug connector from the injectorInstall temporary connector to the injector with wires long enough to make the connection outside the bilge and apply voltage (12 V) to this test harnessThis will validate the injector mechanical and electrical operationIf it does not work, replace itOtherwise, check the resistance of the fuel injector circuitReconnect the injector and disconnect the AMP plug connector number on the MPEMUsing multimeter, check resistance value between terminals as followsCOMPONENT Fuel injector MAG Fuel injector PTO CONTACT LOCATION and 13 and 14
