FUEL DELIVERY FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
Pressure Test
The pressure test will show the available pressure at the airfuel railIt validates the pressure regulator and leaks in the systemIMPORTANT: Before checking airfuel rail pressure, make sure the fuel pressure from the fuel pump and the air pressure from the air compressor are within specificationsSee the procedures elsewhere in this sectionAlso ensure there is no leak from hoses and fittingsRepair any leakEnsure there is enough gas in fuel tankRelease the fuel pressure in the systemDisconnect outlet hose (the one with the fuel filter) from fuel pump using tool PN 529 035 714Connect adapter to pressure gauge as shown
