CAUTION: Never use injector cleaning productsThey may contain additive that could damage injector componentsA copper wire brush may be used to clean the tip of the direct injectors if necessaryTo check airfuel rail for leaks, first pressurize the system then spray soapy water on all hose connections, regulators and injectorsAir bubbles will show the leaking areaCheck also for leaking fuel or fuel odor
Pay particular attention to ensure that pins are not out of their connectors or out of shapeThe troubleshooting procedures cover problems not resulting from one of these causes
