947 Engine CAUTION: Torque wrench tightening specifications must be strictly adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, selflocking fasteners, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the effiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewedNOTE: Loosen all pipe supports from engine before install tuned pipeMake sure to install the sealing ring no15 on tuned pipe cone if it was removed
Apply thin layer of Ultra Copper heat resistant sealant (PN 413 710 300) all around sealing ring no15CAUTION: Damage to bushings andor sleeve will eventually cause stress to tuned pipe and may cause crackingCAUTION: It is very important that the threads are free of debris before installing new selflocking fastenersRefer to removal procedure for the proper thread cleaning procedureClean the "Y" manifold and tuned pipe surfacesScrew stud no21 into the "Y" manifoldTorque to 47 Nm (35 lbfft)Install the new bushing no18Torquing Sequence: CAUTION: Torque the tuned pipe in accordance with the following sequence, otherwise serious engine damage may occurNOTE: Apply Loctite 243 (PN 293 800 060) on stud nut before tightening to 2.5 Nm (22 lbfin)Use special tool (PN 529 035 505)Install external seal no22 and secure with locking tie
