Loosen Allen screw retaining carburetor bracket to tuned pipe head

1Remove bolt
1Loosen Allen screw
Loosen Allen screws no7 and nut no8 at tuned pipe flangeNOTE: To loosen nut, use polygonal wrench (PN 529 035 505)
Remove tuned pipe assemblyBlock exhaust opening in the manifold to keep debris from entering cylinder during threads cleaning procedureRemove the stud no21 from "Y" manifoldUse M10 1.5 screwtap to clean the threaded holes on the "Y" manifold and the threaded holes on tuned pipeClean out the debris with spray cleaner and air pressureCAUTION: It is very important that the threads are free of debris before installing new selflocking fasteners
