All Engines NOTE: This procedure is required to determine the thickness of the cylinder base gasket to be installed if crank repair has involved replacement of connecting rods or if you are experiencing repetitive engine seizureThe combustion chamber volume is the region in the cylinder head above the piston at Top Dead CenterIt is measured with the cylinder head installed on the engine
947 DI Engine 1Remove both direct injectors and bring one piston to Top Dead Center using TDC gaugeKeep spark plugs in their holesAll Engines 2Obtain graduated burette (capacity50 cc) and fill with an equal part (5050) of gasoline and injection oil
