Installation
Apply Loctite The Right Stuff Gasket as indicated by the shaded areas in the next illustrationsFollow also the torquing sequence (if applicable) as shown in the same illustrations3 71 82 4
Remove ball joint, boot, nut, half rings and O-rings from reverse cableRemove boot and nut from VTS sliding shaft (RX models)Disconnect water supply hose, water return hose and bailer hosesRemove nuts, lock washers and flat washers retaining jet pump support

Removal
Remove jet pumpRefer to JET PUMPRemove inlet grate and riding plateRemove ball joint, boot, nut, half rings and O-rings from steering cable
