Resistance Test
Disconnect the AMP plug connector number on the MPEMUsing multimeter, check continuity of circuits 3-3, 3-6 and 3-7If wiring harness is good, try new MPEMRefer to MPEM replacement procedures elsewhere in this sectionOtherwise, repair the wiring harnessconnectors between AMP plug connector and the MAPS
Replacement
Remove the air intake silencerRemove the air ductDisconnect MAPS connector and remove the MPASInstall the new MAPS paying attention to index its tab into the adaptor notchReinstall remaining removed parts
