Voltage Test Both TPS
Check the voltage output from MPEM to the desired throttle position sensorDisconnect plug connector from throttle position sensor and connect voltmeter between pin and and also between pin and in the wiring harnessRemove and reinstall the safety lanyard to activate the MPEMThere should be Vdc in each testIf voltage test is good, replace the TPSIf voltage test is not good, check the resistance of the TPS circuit
If resistance values are incorrect, repair the wiring harnessconnectors between AMP plug connector and the TPS
Replacement
Remove the air intake silencerRemove the air ductDisconnect the connector of the TPSLoosen two Allen screws retaining the TPSRemove TPS1 2
