Install cylinder head gasket947 Carburetor-Equipped Engines Apply Loctite 243 (blue) on the threads of the cylinder block studs no32Apply Loctite 243 (blue) below head of cylinder head bolts no14Apply synthetic grease on threads of cylinder head bolts no14Torque bolts and nuts to 15 Nm (11 lbfft) as per following sequence in the next pictureRepeat the torquing sequence by retightening to 34 Nm (25 lbfft)7 12 10 14 6
