Cylinder Base Gasket
Install new base gasketNOTE: The general procedure is to install new gasket of the same thicknessHowever, if you do not know the gasket thickness that was installed or if crankshaft andor crankcase repair or replacement was involved, refer to the COMBUSTION CHAMBER VOLUME MEASUREMENT to properly determine the required gasket thicknessFive thicknesses of cylinder base gaskets are available for precise adjustment of the squish gapTo identify gasket thickness, refer to the identification holes on the gasket
To easily slide cylinder block over pistons, use ring compressor (PN 290 876 965)
