Steering Cable
Disconnect steering cable no24 from steering stem arm no15Remove retaining block no10Disconnect ball joint no19 from jet pump nozzleRemove ball joint no19 and jam nut from cableLoosen nut no25, then remove half rings no26 and O-ring no27NOTE: To loosen nut, use steering cable tool (PN 295 000 145)Remove steering cable from watercraft
Install flat washer no23 and screw no3Torque screw to Nm (62 lbfin)Install cap no21 5

ASSEMBLY
Assembly is essentially the reverse of disassembly proceduresHowever, pay particular attention to the followingCAUTION: Apply all specified torques and service products as per main illustration at the beginning of this subsection
Grip insert Grip Flat washer ScrewTorque to Nm (62 lbfin) Cap
CAUTION: Ensure to install flat washer otherwise screw will damage grip end
