Steering Cable
To replace steering cable no21, proceed as follows: Disconnect front ball joint no22 of steering cable at steering stem arm no19Loosen nuts no31 and open retaining block no23Disconnect rear ball joint no22 of steering cable at jet pump nozzle; then, remove ball jointFrom bilge, unscrew nut no24 retaining steering cable to hullRemove half rings no25, rubber washer no26 and retaining ring no27NOTE: Move shift lever in reverse position to lower reverse gateIt will ease parts removalRemove steering cable from tie-block and clipsPull out steering cableAssembly is essentially the reverse of disassembly proceduresHowever pay particular attention to the followingInspect and reuse ball joints no22 only if they are in good conditionSecure rear ball joint to nozzleCAUTION: Ensure the ball joint is parallel5) to the nozzle arm
