Section 09 PROPULSION SYSTEM Subsection 02 (JET PUMP)
Install pusher no29 into coverPlace the flat side in front of slider tab
Place housing horizontally as in its operating position so that filler plug is located on topRemove filler plug from coverPour SEA-DOO JET PUMP SYNTHETIC OIL (PN 293 600 011) in reservoir until oil comes level with bottom of holeLet oil drain into housing and after few minutes add more oil until it is level with bottom of filler holeCAUTION: This is synthetic oilDo not mix with mineral based oilDo not mix oil brandsNOTE: When filling reservoir, oil must be poured into cover quite slowly to allow complete housing fill

Install O-ring no27 to coverApply Loctite 518 on O-ringInstall cover to jet pump housing making sure to properly position filler plug on top sideDo not torque yet, keep small gapInsert pencil or any other plastic tool in the hole and push on the slider tabCAUTION: Do not use metal tool to push the tabIt is possible to damage the inner threadsHold tab and torque screwsRemove pencil or tool to release locking mechanismCheck if the mechanism worked properlyPush tab with the pencil or tool; if there is small play the installation is correctIf not, redo the procedureVerify if the impeller is rotating freelyAdd oilOil Fill NOTE: It is highly recommended to perform leakage test prior adding the oilSee PUMP PRESSURIZATION in this subsection
