Section 06 FUEL SYSTEM Subsection 05 (FUEL INJECTION)
INTRODUCTION
The Rotax Fuel Injection (RFI) is semi-direct electronic fuel injection systemFuel is injected into each cylinder through the rear transfer portWith this design, the injector is not exposed to high combustion pressure, temperature and contaminantsThis system delivers the following benefits: easier cold engine starting (no choke) easier hot engine starting improved idling better throttle response better fuel economy no fuel valveThis system has the advantage of optimizing the engine power, fuel economy and emission controls under all engine operating conditions by managing both the fuel injection duration and ignition timingThe Rotax Fuel Injection (RFI) is composed of the following basic systems: 1Air Induction 2Fuel Delivery 3Electronic Management
