NOTE: Pressure test should be performed three times to obtain valid readingIf pop-off pressure is not within specification, check control lever adjustmentReplace spring as necessaryCAUTION: Do not stretch or cut springLEAK TEST Needle valve must stand pressure of 69 kPa (10 PSI) for 30 secondsOtherwise, hold carburetor upside down, pour oil over needle valve and apply pressureCheck for bubblesIf they come from seat or O-ring, bubbles will exit around seatRetighten as necessaryIf it still leaks remove needle and seat and replace O-ringIf bubbles come from needle, replace needle and seat

POP-OFF Pressure Test Proceed as follows: Install pump gauge tester on carburetor fuel inlet nipple Obstruct fuel return nipple with finger Pump tester until inlet release pressure is reached (seen by sudden pressure drop)3 1
