717 and 787 Engines Install cylinder head cover no1Apply Loctite 243 (blue) below head of screws no14Apply also synthetic grease on threads of screws no14Torque cylinder head screws no14 to 12 Nm (9 lbfft) as per following illustrated sequenceRepeat the procedure, retightening all screws to 24 Nm (17 lbfft)10 12

1Knob fully tightened
This will ensure the correct preload on the return spring no19 in order to open and close the RAVE valve at the proper RPM
