787 Engine Prior installation, apply synthetic grease below screw head and Loctite 518 on screw threadsInstall M10 105 screws on exhaust side and the M10 73.5 on opposite sideTorque screws in criss-cross sequence for each cylinder to 20 Nm (15 lbfft)Repeat the procedure, retightening all cylinder screws to 40 Nm (30 lbfft)2 2
Apply Loctite 518 in O-ring groove of cylinder sleevesInstall cylinder head947 Engine Apply Loctite 243 (blue) on the threads of the cylinder block studs no32Apply Loctite 243 (blue) below head of cylinder head bolts no14Apply synthetic grease on threads of cylinder head bolts no14Torque bolts and nuts to 15 Nm (11 lbfft) as per following sequence in the next pictureRepeat the torquing sequence by retightening to 34 Nm (25 lbfft)7 12 10 14 6
