All Models Except GSX RFI and GTX RFI Turn fuel valve to ON positionStart engineIt may be necessary to use the chokeIf engine does not start, repeat previous steps as necessaryGSX RFI and GTX RFI Models Start engine according to normal starting procedureAll Models CAUTION: To avoid starting motor overheating, the cranking period should not exceed 510 seconds and rest period of 30 seconds should be observed between cranking cyclesNOTE: If engine does not start after several attempts, check ignition system for spark occurrenceRefer to IGNITION SYSTEMCheck crankshaft if needed, it may be misaligned or deflectedRefer to BOTTOM ENDAfter engine has started, spray BOMBARDIER LUBE lubricant through air intake silencer while engine is running1 3
