Advanced Self-Diagnostic Mode
It needs to be enabled manuallyProceed as follows: 1Remove safety lanyard cap from watercraft switch2Press times on the watercraft startstop buttonNOTE: short beep and long beep must be heardThey validate beginning of diagnostic mode3Install safety lanyard on watercraft switch4Press the watercraft startstop button againNOTE: If everything is correct, engine will startOtherwise, refer to the following chartSIGNAL No beep long and short beeps CAUSE Engine actually starts No safety lanyard has ever been programmed in watercraft MPEMREMEDY Everything is correct Use programmer and program safety lanyardThis code can occur only when you receive new MPEM from the factory and no key has ever been programmed Check safety lanyard cap condition with the MPEM programmerReplace safety lanyard if reported defective Check switch wiring harness Use the safety lanyard that has been programmed for the watercraftIf the problem is not resolved, check safety lanyard cap condition with the MPEM programmerReplace safety lanyard if reported defective Check wiring harness and safety lanyard switch
