Armature plate screws must have Loctite 242 (blue) applied before tighteningMake sure armature plate screws are well securedReinstall removed partsRefer to MAGNETO SYSTEM 04-04Recheck ignition timing (make sure engine is cold)Repeat armature plate positioning procedure if timing mark position is not adequate
