Brush and clean impeller shaft threads, impeller and drive shaft splines with Loctite Safety solvent 755 (PN 293 800 019) or equivalentFree threads and splines from any residue
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage impeller shaft diameter

Visually inspect impeller splinesCheck for wear or deformationRenew parts if damagedNOTE: Check also PTO flywheel and drive shaft conditionRefer to BOTTOM END 04-06 and DRIVE SYSTEM 09-03Examine impeller in wear ring for distortionCheck if blade tips are blunted round, chipped or brokenSuch impeller is unbalanced and will vibrate and damage wear ring, impeller shaft, shaft seal or bearingsRenew if damaged1
